About the course

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the glass sector with people who are able to operate unsupervised as glaziers.

This qualification will provide for those individuals who are working as glaziers a credential that will support their career opportunities across a range of companies in the glass sector.

Graduates of this qualification will be able to work to the required safety, technical, quality, and productivity standards, providing customers with confidence in the products they receive.

The strands in the qualification enable candidates to gain skills and knowledge specific to the sector of the glass industry they are working in.

Entry requirements

Candidates need to complete the New Zealand Certificate in Glass (Level 3) [Ref: 2944], or demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills, before enrolling in a programme leading to this qualification.
