New Zealand Certificate in Civil Defence Emergency Management (Response)

This qualification is designed for people who may be responsible for leading a Civil Defence emergency response team or crew.

This qualification contributes to a safer New Zealand through providing skilled emergency response personnel.

Graduates will operate under the broad guidance of a Coordinated Incident Management System (CIMS) function manager, Incident Controller, designated emergency manager, or equivalent.
