New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (Level 2)

This qualification is intended to assist people engaging or re-engaging with learning who have the basic capabilities needed to pursue education or employment pathways, but require further development to confidently use them to succeed in those pathways.

Achievement NZ offers two courses that lead to this qualification.

Active Careers (Level 2) - A 60 credit, 20 week course ideal for young people aged 16-19 years who are looking for a career that requires a good level of fitness.

Careers in Hospitality (Level 2) - A 100 credit, 33 week course that includes the NZ Certificate in Hospitality (Level 2). This course is ideal for people aged 16+ years who are looking for a career in the service industries.
