About the course
This course is not suitable for beginners. Please refer to our one day short course ideal for anyone that requires an overview on Explosive Atmospheres / Hazardous Areas.
During the course, you’ll gain theoretical knowledge and find out how to:
- Demonstrate introductory underpinning knowledge of electrical equipment in explosive atmospheres
- Demonstrate and apply intermediate underpinning knowledge of electrical equipment in explosive atmospheres
- Determine the explosion-protection requirements specified for classified explosive atmospheres
- Report on the integrity of explosion-protected electrical apparatus in explosive atmospheres
- Demonstrate underpinning knowledge of gas detection equipment in explosive atmospheres
This qualification is only offered through WITT, and is available to students in New Plymouth or in-house anywhere in New Zealand.
