Advance your paramedic career with AUT’s Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Paramedic Practice. Choose either critical care or extended care paramedicine, and gain the skills to lead in advanced clinical settings.
Entry requirements
Minimum entry requirements
- Must have completed the Bachelor of Health Science Paramedicine, or equivalent
- Must have at least two years relevant professional experience
- Must be registered with Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council
- Must be capable of meeting the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act (HPCA 2003) and Children’s Act (CA 2014) requirements, including police clearance.
- Applicants may be required to attend a selection interview
- Admission is subject to the approval of the dean or other nominee

- IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall with no band less than 6.0
