New Zealand Certificate in Hairdressing (Level 3)
NZQF Level 3

About the course

This course is designed for people with no prior knowledge or experience in hairdressing who wish to learn hairstyling and colouring skills, as well as basic hair-cutting techniques.

Study just three days per week, giving you the flexibility to balance learning with work, family or other commitments while still gaining hands‑on, practical experience.

When you graduate, you will have the knowledge, practical skills and attributes to contribute to the effective operation of a salon and perform limited salon and client services.

Or you can further develop your hairdressing skills by continuing with our level 4 professional stylist programme.

You may be required to complete literacy and numeracy assessments as part of this programme.
