About the course
Learn how to fix your bicycle in 2 days!
Do you want to:
- Learn how to get your bicycle going again when you breakdown on the cycle trail?
- Do preventative maintenance and basic servicing on your bicycle?
- Know how to correctly set up and adjust your bicycle?
You can’t always take a mechanic cycling with you so why not learn to fix your bicycle yourself? Give yourself more freedom and less stress.

What you'll achieve
By the end of the workshop you’ll:
- Understand how to set up your bicycle for your body to make it safe, comfortable and easier to ride
- Learn basic preventative bicycle maintenance to avoid problems from occurring while you’re out cycling
- Know how to get yourself going again on your cycle ride after a simple hiccup with your bike
- Know basic checks to do on your bicycle before heading out for a ride, how to fix fundamental problems with your bike such as fixing punctures, putting the chain back on, adjusting the chain, checking brakes and changing brake pads.
- Know what tools you need to take with you on your cycle to get you going again
- Be able to put your bicycle in a bike box for travel and put it back together again rather than having to take it to the bike shop
- Become more confident and independent on your bicycle knowing that you can fix fundamental problems
