About the course

Nau mai, haere mai ki Te Kura Matatini o Whitireia. The Bachelor Nursing Māori programme is kaupapa Māori orientated to support your learner journey to become a registered nurse with the Nursing Council New Zealand. Your learner journey traverses Te Ao Māori and Te Ao Tapuhi (Nursing). By the end of your three years of study you will be ready to sit your Nursing Council State Examination. You will have demonstrated that you’re competent culturally and clinically, and will be able to practice as a Registered Nurse both in Aotearoa and overseas. Fluency in te reo Māori is not essential to apply for this programme.
