Who is this for?

Then a qualification in project management could be for you.
What you will learn
Graduates of this qualification will be able to support the management of a project(s) under broad guidance, in accordance with ngā kaupapa o te Tiriti o Waitangi (the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi), and in a multi-cultural environment.
When you achieve this qualification you will be able to:
- Support a project(s) through its life cycle through the selection and application of project management knowledge, tools, and techniques.
- Lead aspects of a project(s) under broad guidance.
- Behave professionally and ethically and in a socially and culturally responsible manner and apply personal and interpersonal skills to support the performance of the project.
Entry requirements
Academic requirements:
- 40 credits NCEA Level 1, including 10 literacy credits and 10 numeracy credits
Alternative requirements:
- Skills for tertiary study (including literacy and numeracy) may be acquired through study, work and/or life experience. Students who can demonstrate these skills may be approved for alternative entry.
English requirements:
- Applicants for whom English is not a first language must have an IELTS score of 5.5 Academic with no band score lower than 5; or an accepted international equivalence.
Note: Students who have achieved NCEA Level 3 University Entrance requirements are not required to provide evidence of English Language Skills.
