Outcome Statement: To prepare students for teaching in a New Zealand tertiary environment using best practice teaching and learning principles and techniques. Graduates will be able to: Design, deliver, assess, review and evaluate student centred teaching and learning in a tertiary educational institution Undertake administrative and academic tasks related to their teaching Use appropriate educational technology for teaching and learning Explain the importance of research and/or industry links in supporting teaching and learning Graduates will be able to carry out teaching duties in a tertiary educational institute with support from a programme leader or mentor.
