Apprenticeship Boost
Course details
About the course
Government support and funding
On the 8th October 2024, the Government announced a continued investment into the Apprenticeship Boost scheme to prioritise critical industries and targeted occupations that are essential to addressing New Zealand’s skills shortages and rebuilding the economy. For ServiceIQ this means continued financial support for apprentices in the aviation and food and hospitality sectors, however support for retail apprentices will cease.
Apprenticeship Boost: A Valuable Opportunity for Employers
From 1 January 2025 employers can claim Apprenticeship Boost payments of $500/month for the first 12 months of each apprenticeship. Employers currently receiving Apprenticeship Boost for a ServiceIQ Apprenticeship can continue receiving payments in 2025 while the apprentice remains in their first 12 months of their training.
