Already work in the financial services sector and keen to upskill? This programme is designed to help you become an expert with the specialised knowledge, practical skills and proficiency in financial services operations to excel in your field.
Graduates can offer personalised financial advice to clients in various roles based on their specialty area (see below for a list of options).
Upon completing this online programme you will be eligible for career paths including Insurance Advisor, Technical Specialist and Advisor Support.

Academic requirements
- Minimum 8 NCEA Level 2 credits in English (4 in writing, 4 in reading), or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge or skills.
- For those over 20 who do not meet the entry requirements, you will be eligible to be enrolled where your previous educational, work or life experience indicate that you have a reasonable likelihood of success.
English language requirements
- If English is not your first language, you must provide:
- New Zealand University Entrance, or
- Overall IELTS 5.5 with no individual band score lower than 5.0 (achieved in one test completed in the last two years), or
- Acceptable alternative evidence of the required IELTS (see here for NZQA proficiency table and here for a list of recognised proficiency tests).
