About the course
Suitable for employees new to the industry and their role, this micro-credential equips them with the skills to meet strict and robust regulations for Halal food product production and processing requirements and applying Shariah to the production and certification of Halal food and food products. This micro-credential replaces the Halal Meat Processing Limited Credit Programme and is made up of two theory-based halal unit standards and one practical slaughter operations unit standard. This programme is delivered in partnership with Halal training providers, or via employer-led delivery, for employers with senior halal operations staff who hold both Primary ITO Assessor registration and the required halal qualification.
