University Transfer Programme in Commerce
International tuition $33,500
NZQF Level 5

About the course

UTP: Commerce is equivalent to the first year of your undergraduate commerce studies. Upon completion of the programme you will be eligible to progress to the second year of the Bachelor of Commerce degree and you will be able to choose from a variety of specialisations.

UC boasts New Zealand’s oldest Bachelor of Commerce degree. At the time of its introduction in 1906 the UC Bachelor of Commerce degree was one of the first business degrees in the British Commonwealth.

The UC School of of Business and Law is ranked in the top 150 universities in the world for Accounting and Finance, and in the top 200 for Business and Management, and Economics and Econometrics.

UCIC’s University Transfer Programme: Commerce is a NZQA approved Training Scheme. This does not lead to a formal qualification on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework. The University Transfer Programme: Commerce may be used for progression requirements under a pathway arrangement between UCIC and UC, subject to final approval by the University of Canterbury.
