About the course
Graduates will be able to reflect critically on philosophical issues in accounting; synthesise and analyse different theoretical approaches to accounting topics; and carry out and communicate independent research on projects relevant to accounting. The MPA meets the academic requirements for pursuing membership of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA) and CPA Australia. Graduates may work in chartered accounting firms, smaller accountancy practices, government organisations, not-for-profit organisations, and commercial enterprises including those offering banking and financial services.
A bachelor s degree in any discipline and the postgraduate English language requirements of the University.
