About the course
Graduates will be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills required for employment in a supervised position in the Hairdressing industry.
Graduates will have the knowledge and skills to undertake elementary hair styling, and colouring in a Hairdressing Salon. They will have hairdressing product knowledge, and customer service; reception; and stock display skills.
Graduates will have the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue further study in the hairdressing or beauty field. They will be able to enter into Year 2 of a Hairdressing apprenticeship programme.
Graduates will have acquired a range of literacy and numeracy skills equipping them for employment, or for continuing study.
