About the course
This course focuses on the development, operation and management of small businesses. The NZ Certificate in Business Level 3 is designed for people with little to no business experience and it provides them with the knowledge and skills to prepare them to establish and manage their own business or further study. Within the course modules, students will learn to work in a team, conduct financial planning and use a range of Microsoft Office products. Soft skills such as professional, ethical and cultural behavior, problem-solving, decision-making skills and self-management techniques with also be taught.

- Small business planning
- Small business professionalism
- legal and ethical requirements
- Business opportunities, communications and problem solving
Entry requirements
Domestic Student :
16 years of age or older at course start date
Demonstrate appropriate literacy and numeracy levels.
18 years of age or older at course start date
IELTS (General or Academic) 5.0 with no band lower than 5.0 (or NZQA approved equivalent)
3 years secondary school education or equivalent work experience
