About the course

Young children are very impressionable and having the best teacher around will do wonders for their cognitive and emotional development.

Our ECE Level 2 programme takes a holistic care approach to child development and learning. The course is designed to cultivate teaching skills that are engaging and wholesomely interesting for young learners.

Our course puts a premium and primary focus on parenting roles or as support for kaiāwhina and carer in a supervised environment.

Entry requirements

All students who wish to enrol must go through a selection interview process. Participants who meet the criteria below are able to take part in these programmes:

  • Aged 16 years and above and left school
  • Commitment to completing the qualifications

*This course is not available to international students.
