Who should attend Learners aspiring to pursue careers in the fields of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Technology. Course highlights You will learn about: Operating region of superconductors, response to magnetic fields, critical current, quench and recovery, different types of superconductor Thermodynamics of cryogenic cooling systems, efficiency calculations, cryo-cooler operation and design basics Machine design principles for high power to weight ratios Conduction and switching characteristics of wide band gap MOSFETs and the effects of temperature Advanced motor drive topologies. Duration17 weeks Wednesdays, 4pm to 8pm
