About the course

Who should attend The course is designed for deck officers, masters, pilots and any other mariners requiring a stand-alone generic ECDIS certificate in accordance with STCW Regulation II/1. Course highlights This course is designed to equip the student with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to keep a safe navigational watch using Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems (ECDIS), interfaced with other onboard equipment to maintain safety of navigation. This Maritime NZ approved training course is based on the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) model course 1.27 and meets the requirements as type-specific training for the Transas Navi-Sailor 4000 ECDIS. DurationFive days 8am - 4pm (2pm finish Friday)
