About the course

Who should attend The course is designed specifically for individuals who wish to gain more knowledge in their current maritime security field, or wish to move into maritime security as a Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO). Course highlights Participants will be able to complete all duties required of a Port Facility Security Officer in ISPS-designated port facilities, including the development, implementation, revision and maintenance of the port facility security plan and liaison with ship security and company security officers. This course meets the requirements of SOLAS Chapter XI - 2, the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) code. This course includes: Introduction to International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS) Roles of Company Security Officer (CSO) and Ship Security Officer (SSO) Security requirements and security administration including drills, exercises and protection Crowd management techniques Emergency preparedness. DurationThree days 8am - 4pm
