About the course

The New Zealand Certificate in Electrical Engineering Theory and Practice (Trade) (Level 4) is no longer available for new enrolments.

This qualification has been replaced by the New Zealand Certificate in Electrical Trade (Level 4) – General Electrical [4204].

Existing apprentices enrolled in this qualification will continue to be supported by EarnLearn to complete their training.

The programme combines on-the-job and off-job learning and provides a pathway for eligible graduates to apply to the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) for registration.
