About the course
Develop a career in organic horticulture
Gain the skills and knowledge to grow your understanding of organic crop production to give you the tools to work within this growing sector. The collaborative design of this programme allows you to build on different experiences and networks. Learn alongside like-minded people while sharing knowledge of different production operations from inside and out of your region. Class days will run on Tuesdays from your local campus with practical days run on your nominated organic production property or site. There are four compulsory workshops based in Tauranga (Biodiversity, Organic Principles and Certification, Soil and Nutrient Management, and Organic Crop Production).
