Course details

Certificate of Competency in Industrial Rope Access (Level 3)
NZQF Level 3

About the course

All NZQA qualified rope access operators and technicians are able to obtain an Industrial Rope Access Association of New Zealand (IRAANZ) Certificate of Competence (CoC), which identifies their current proficiency to work in New Zealand.

Additionally, rope access operators with internationally recognised qualifications may also be able to obtain an IRAANZ CoC. However, key NZQA unit standards must be completed as part of the pre-requisite to cover New Zealand Health and Safety policy and legislation that cannot be obtained internationally.

A CoC is current for three years and can be easily renewed with proof of logged hours in the industry. The cost of the CoC covers the IRAANZ CoC card, an IRAANZ log book and a three-year IRAANZ affiliate membership.
