Coachbuilding (Level 4)

About the course

Designed in consultation with industry, MITO's training programme will provide you with the skills and knowledge to effectively build coaches and motor homes and fabricate and repair their components. Graduates will be able to work in a range of coachbuilding roles and will be capable of working unsupervised.Programme OutlineThe training programme includes a mix of practical training and assessment, undertaken in the workplace, and eLearning, allowing you to complete theory elements of the programme at your own pace. You will have access to videos, interactive simulations and theory assessments, which can be easily accessed at any time from any device – mobile phone, tablet or PC.

Interpret customer requirements and respond to technical issues as required in a coachbuilding workplace. Apply knowledge of automotive engineering to complete fabrication and repair tasks in a coachbuilding workshop. Manufacture vehicle components in the coachbuilding industry.
