About the course
AEA Evening Barista Course -- Learn a new and practical skill!
The AEA Barista course is a one-week (5 days) programme that combines both theoretical and practical aspects of coffee making and customer service skills.
Learn:
Over the week, students will learn how to make standard espresso beverages, practise latte art and have an experience of customer service.
Location:
Classes are run at the ICL Education Centre Student Cafeteria
Time:
Classes run from 6 pm – 9 pm.
At the end of the course, students are awarded a completion certificate from AEA.
About the provider
Auckland English Academy (AEA) is an NZQA Category One accredited education provider under the umbrella of ICL Education Group, situated in the heart of the Auckland CBD, and is one of New Zealand’s oldest language schools, established in 1988.
AEA offers communication English programme for students who want to improve their English language level for different reasons such as traveling, working in an English-speaking country, preparing to progress to an academic course, communicating better with friends etc. Classes are run in daytime and evenings and offer students from all over the world classes tailored to their needs, in particular through an individual learning plan.
AEA also offers examination preparation courses such as IELTS and the Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic), and has for a long time been the largest IELTS preparation course provider in New Zealand. This is manifest in the large number of students who have achieved the scores they aimed for, paving the way for them to continue to pursue other life endeavors. A popular pathway is to progress to diplomas and master’s degrees offered by ICL after completing IELTS, PTE and NZCEL (New Zealand Certificate of English Language).
