About the course

Nursing is one of the most in-demand professions out there. With community healthcare so important now, it’s a great time to study and develop your academic skills further to prepare for a degree in Nursing, Midwifery or Health Science.

Gain a deeper understanding of health, physiology and how to care for people so you can make a difference to your community.

You will be introduced to theories that show how development occurs across the physical, cognitive and socioemotional domains 

This paper will challenge you to become more analytical in your thinking and to broaden your perspective on health and wellbeing. 

Entry requirements

  • Applicants must have completed either a health related Level 3 qualification, or achieved NCEA level 2 or equivalent or successfully applied for Special Admission (if over 20 years old)
