About the course
Entry requirements
DOMESTIC STUDENTS
- Applicants must be a minimum of 16 years old
- Applicants must be a NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Hold a Level 2 qualification or equivalent or meet the requirements of the NZMA Entry Assessment
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
- Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old
- Hold a Level 2 qualification or equivalent or meet the requirements of the NZMA Entry Assessment
- If English is your second language, we may get you to sit an English Language Assessment.
- If you are an international student, you also need to have an English level of 5.0 IELTS or equivalent* with no band score lower than 5.0.
- You must have travel and medical insurance and a valid visa.
* Other English Tests / evidence may be approved as advised by NZQA
