New Zealand Certificate in Retail

The purpose of this qualification is:
- to provide competent employees who are able to work in senior retail or customer service or specialist roles in the retail sector
- to provide for those individuals who are working in senior retail or customer service or specialist roles, a credential that will support their career opportunities across a range of organisations in the retail sector
- to provide standards of professional practice for retail sector specialist roles that contribute to improving performance and productivity in the workplace and providing customers with a positive retail experience.

Academic Requirements 40 credits NCEA Level 1, including 10 literacy credits and 10 numeracy credits OR New Zealand Certificate in Retail (Level 3) Additional Requirements You must be currently working in a retail environment. English Requirements IELTS 5.5 Academic (no lower than 5.0 in any subtest).
