About the course
A graduate of the Diploma in Agriculture will have an understanding of the disciplines that underpin agriculture including soils, plants, animals and agricultural engineering and will then have developed approaches to manage these in different farming systems in various circumstances. They will also have developed an appreciation of the need to continue to learn more about the systems and their components.
Entry requirements
Students are admitted to the Qualification on the basis of having one of i) University Entrance or ii) having achieved a pass in an approved NQF Level 4 qualification, or equivalent and literacy and numeracy for University Entrance and on completion of a years farm employment.
