About the course
You'll be introduced to a wide range of painting skills including preparing and finishing surfaces. You'll also learn how to select the right tools for the job.
Core skills
The development of literacy, numeracy and information technology is embedded and applied throughout the learning experience.
This programme gives you the chance to study in a supportive environment where you get the time and individual attention you need to achieve a level 2 qualification.

All applicants must:
- be at least 16 years old at the time the programme commences.
- be able to read, write, and communicate in English at a basic level.
- be physically able to complete the programme-specific outcomes.
