About the course
What you will learn
Designed for those working as a carpentry apprentice. Progress towards becoming a qualified carpenter. You will learn through practical tutorials, evening classes, workshop instruction, plus regular on-site assessment at your work by our tutors. Learn alongside other apprentices.
- Receive on-site work experience in timber floor framing, flooring and wall framing
- Install plasterboard linings and thermal insulation materials
- Apply levelling methods and set out residential buildings
- Interpret construction drawings and prepare quantity lists
