Master of Educational Psychology
NZQF Level 9

About the course

Graduates will have the knowledge and skills to effectively support learners, their families and educational personnel. They will advance their careers in education-related contexts as leaders utilising contemporary evidence-based practices. They will become leaders in educational centres, as in-service teacher-educators or will work in education-related policy. The Master of Educational Psychology can be either a stand-alone degree but is also a prerequisite for the internship-year qualification, the Postgraduate Diploma in Education Psychology Practice (VI00Z2), which leads to registration as a psychologist. Alternatively, some graduates may be able to continue to a PhD.
