About the course
This programme contributes to professional, ethical, social and culturally responsive Māori leadership. You’ll learn through wānanga to build the skills you need to contribute to Māori cultural, educational and economic aspirations. As a graduate of this programme, you’ll be equipped to fulfil a range of kaupapa Māori based governance roles.
Delivery:
Offered part time over one year with courses weekly tutorials offered in Hāwera or New Plymouth (you choose which is most suitable for you), and also include two weekend noho marae in March and August as well as four wānanga held on Saturdays in May, June, September and October.
Assessment
Each course is assessed through a variety of methods such as quizzes, questions, case studies and assignments.
