About the course
Are you currently a carpenter in the construction industry and want to upgrade your carpentry skills? UCOL’s New Zealand Certificate in Carpentry (Trade) (Level 4) will provide you with the skills needed to become a qualified carpenter.

Our programme consists of various carpentry courses delivered through a combination of block courses at UCOL and the practical components at your workplace, letting you learn while you earn and helping you gain a nationally recognised qualification.
You will gain the practical skills and knowledge required to work unsupervised, constructing, repairing, and installing building structures to the level required of a commercially competent carpenter.
