About the course
Discover if a career in IT is right for you while still in secondary school with the UCOL Te Pūkenga Academy ICT Innovation Programme.
Join the UCOL Te Pūkenga Academy ICT Innovation Programme to learn the fundamentals of IT and computing applications and tools. You will have the opportunity to work towards NCEA Level 2 whilst exploring a range of skills that are applicable to all areas of business including:
- Presentations
- Web development
- Databases
- Digital media
- Computer hardware
- Digital tools
- Security
Successful completion of the UCOL Te Pūkenga Academy ICT Innovation Programme is the first step in a journey. Equipped with new skills and a taste for the industry, you will know what you need to do to pursue a career in IT in an IT business support or administration and technology support role. If this is for you, you can undertake further tertiary studies in:
- New Zealand Certificate in Computing
- New Zealand Certificate in IT Essentials
- New Zealand Diploma in IT Technical Support
- Bachelor of Information and Communications Technology (Applied)
