Construction Sub Trades

Don’t get someone in – do it yourself!

This course introduces you to a variety of sub trades, depending on the project.

Some of the possible trades available are: painting, plastering, tiling, roofing and concrete laying.

These skills are essential to the construction industry and very useful around the home.

No prior knowledge is required.

Duration: 10 weeks (3 days a week)

Introduction to Welding

Think like an Engineer – turn your ideas into reality!

This course allows you to develop basic welding skills while developing small engineering projects.

You will learn to design and build projects that may assist a family or community’s needs.

You may take these skills and move into an engineering related trade as a profession or use these skills to move into other engineering programmes here at EIT.

No prior knowledge is required.

Duration: 10 weeks (3 days a week)
