About the course

Graduates of the Certificate in Tertiary Studies (Level 3) will be able to:

Demonstrate competence in mathematics skills that allow them to pursue further tertiary study;
Demonstrate academic skills that will allow them to pursue further tertiary study;
Gain credits towards or complete nationally recognised qualifications;
Exhibits responsibility for their own learning and use effective strategies to maintain engagement with learning;
Select options that fit to their career aspirations;
Communicate in a collaborative way with individuals, groups and as a member of the community;
Engage in further study at level 4 or higher;
Gain employment in entry level positions in the workplace (either retail, tourism, sport and fitness or administrative) depending on the endorsements gained.

Entry requirements

Students will be required to provide evidence that they can progress through the programme of study. This may require interview, challenge assessments or submission of a portfolio of work to ensure that students choose the most appropriate programme of study. English language proficiency applies.
