About the course

Graduates will be able to:
Meet the academic and English language/literacy requirements for undergraduate level study.
Meet the requirements for admission to unrestricted undergraduate degrees at Massey University and other New Zealand universities and polytechnics.

Entry requirements

Students who apply after leaving New Zealand secondary schools must have: Completed at least year 12; Achieved at least 50 credits at NCEA Level 2 or above including at least 14 credits at Level 1 or higher in English Achieved 14 credits in Mathematics at NCEA Level 1 or higher.

Students who have been educated offshore should submit their educational qualifications for assessment. Students must have passed a qualification which is at least equivalent academically to New Zealand's NCEA Level 2. International students from non-English speaking backgrounds must also meet the following minimum English language requirements: IELTS: 5.5 overall (minimum 5.0 in each band). Results from two separate tests can be combined. OR TOEFL: 192 (computer-based. TWE 4.0) OR TOEFL: 525 (paper-based. TWE 4.0)

Domestic students, who are at least 20 years of age before the first day of the programme of study, can be granted Adult Admission.
