New Zealand Certificate in Electricity Supply (Distribution Live Line Glove and Barrier)(Level 5)

This qualification is for people currently employed as distribution line mechanics in the electricity supply industry. It is designed to provide the industry with people able to work with live lines using glove and barrier procedures in the distribution sector of the electricity supply industry.
Graduates will be able to work safely to industry standards, taking responsibility for their work
and be capable of working independently whilst ensuring public safety.

We are the infrastructure business division of Te Pūkenga – New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology. Te Pūkenga is the new Crown entity established to unite Institutes of Technology, Polytechnics (ITPs) and Industry Training Organisations around the country into a unified national network as part of the Government’s Reform of Vocational Education.  It is creating a network of on-job, online and on-campus learning to give learners more flexibility in what, where and how they learn.
