About the course
This qualification is for people currently employed as distribution line mechanics in the electricity supply industry. It is designed to provide the industry with people able to work with live lines using glove and barrier procedures in the distribution sector of the electricity supply industry.
Graduates will be able to work safely to industry standards, taking responsibility for their work
and be capable of working independently whilst ensuring public safety.
Entry requirements
You will need to be working in the electricity supply industry.
You must have completed the New Zealand Certificate in
Electricity Supply (Distribution Live Line Stick) (Level 4).
