About the course

Do you want to work in or re-enter the health and wellbeing industry as a healthcare assistant? If so then this course is for you.

You gain the skills and knowledge required to provide person-centred health care under the direction of a health professional.

You explore the way different health issues and practices impact the wellbeing of individuals, families and communities and learn how to care for people with multiple conditions or disabilities. You also learn how to safely move patients and how to respond to vulnerability and abuse.
