About the course

The course also acknowledges regional variances in te reo. Te Pōkaitahi Reo (Te Kaupae 3) is offered through evening classes for part-time study and day classes for full-time study. The part-time option is one evening per week, 5.30pm - 8.30pm and runs over 2 semesters (32 weeks) with online Moodle activities (minimum of five hours per week) and four weekend wānanga (learning forums). It's suited for those who work during the day.  The full-time option is Monday – Thursday, 9am – 3pm and runs over 1 semester (16 weeks).
