About the course

Proficiency in English is your key to academic success.

Let us prepare you. The English Proficiency Programme (EPP) will develop your English language and academic skills for study at university.

We offer a variety of 10-week courses in every trimester. In 2021, you can choose from:

  1. EPP for undergraduate and postgraduate purposes: on campus and online
  2. EPP for postgraduate purposes (advanced): online.

Entry requirements

There are no entry requirements for EPP, but you will need a pre-intermediate level of English or above before beginning the course, equivalent to at least IELTS 4.5 or TOEFL 32 or higher. For EPP for PG (advanced), you need the equivalent of Band 6.0 on IELTS, with a maximum of one skill below 6 and no skill below 5.5.
