About the course
This qualification is achieved alongside the completion of trade training as a Marine Technician (Electrical) in the Royal New Zealand Navy. After completing your trade training, you will complete full registration with the Electrical Workers Registration Board.
Marine Technicians with an electrical specialisation learn to operate and maintain a wide range of high-performance equipment onboard our Navy ships, including: electrical generation and power distribution systems, refrigeration and air conditioning plants and desalination equipment (making fresh water from sea water).
