About the course
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the signmaking industry with individuals who have attained competency and capability to work as tradespeople in the signmaking industry. Graduates will be capable of operating at an advanced level without supervision.
The qualification is suitable candidates enrolling into a New Zealand Apprenticeship.
Learners will benefit by having a qualification that recognises skills, knowledge and trade-level competence to enable continuous job performance and career advancement.
The optional strands in traditional signwriting, three-dimensional sign fabrication, and digital signage recognise specialised signmaking knowledge and skills that some people may wish to pursue.
