About the course
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the electrical industry with commercially competent registered electricians who have advanced and broad operational, technical, and theoretical skills and knowledge to carry out a full range of prescribed electrical work in their industry sector in accordance with the Electricity Act 1992, and can manage electrical projects.
This qualification is for those who are already registered electricians and wish to progress their career as an Electrical Inspector, managers, or specialists in the electrical industry.
The qualification includes the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) licensing requirements to become eligible to register as an Electrical Inspector. Graduates will be able to apply to the EWRB for registration once they have been awarded this qualification.
