About the course

MH101® is an NZQA-approved training scheme delivered as a one-day workshop or series of three interactive webinars. It equips participants to respond to people experiencing mental health challenges - both at work and in everyday life.

The learning outcomes for this workshop are:

  • Recognise the signs of good mental health and of mental health challenges.
  • Use Te Whare Tapa Whā to support mental wellbeing
  • Relate to what people with mental health challenges are experiencing
  • Respond supportively to mental distress.

MH101® is free for individuals to attend public workshops, or businesses may purchase a workshop for their staff to attend. These are delivered all over New Zealand, and the webinar option means even the geographically isolated can participate.
