This qualification in Rural Contracting will highlight your ability to work independently on a range of rural contracting activities, operate rural contracting machinery and work with limited to no supervision.

You can choose to specialise in either crop production, harvesting or vegetation control, to fit your working environment.

Te Pūkenga is the new Crown entity established to unite Institutes of Technology, Polytechnics (ITPs) and Industry Training Organisations around the country into a unified national network as part of the Government’s Reform of Vocational Education.  It is creating a network of on-job, online and on-campus learning to give learners more flexibility in what, where and how they learn.
