About the course

Designed in consultation with industry, MITO’s training programme will provide you with the the knowledge and skills required to safely and effectively carry out heavy vehicle and trailer wheel alignments.Programme OutlineThe training programme includes a mix of practical training and assessment, undertaken in the workplace, and eLearning, allowing you to complete theory elements of the programme at your own pace. You will have access to videos, learning activities and course assessments, which can be easily accessed at any time and from any device – mobile phone, tablet or PC.

Respond to health and safety and technical issues as required to maintain a safe and effective wheel alignment workplace Apply the appropriate precautionary measures when carrying out heavy vehicle and trailer wheel alignment procedures in a wheel alignment workshop Apply knowledge of diagnostic procedures in steering, suspension, braking, driveline, hydraulics, electrical and electronic systems to carry out a wheel alignment on heavy vehicles, and heavy trailers.
