About the course
Intro
The NZ Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering(Road Transport strand) (Level 4) is a nationally recognised qualification with 16 courses (240 credits). The expectation is that the apprentice will complete 60-70 credits per year and 4-5 courses per year.
Night school and block courses are delivered at our Hawke’s Bay and Tairāwhiti campuses as part of the programme. These are designed for the apprentice to complete work that they cannot fulfill at their place of employment eg. ‘Electronic Brake and Stability Control Systems’.
